After revealing their pregnancy news in mid-September, Ryan Reynolds recently gushed about his and wife Blake Lively’s three daughters being eager to meet their new sibling.
‘Oh yeah, they’re in. They love it. They’re ready,’ the A-list leading man, 46, confessed to Entertainment Tonight on Thursday, November 17.
While the arrival of their fourth child is fast approaching, the Hollywood power couple are already proud parents to daughters James, seven, Inez, six, and Betty, three.
‘We’re very excited. You know, you’d have to be a moron to do this four times if you didn’t like it,’ Reynolds joked ahead of the 36th Annual American Cinematheque Award Ceremony in Beverly Hills on Thursday, where the Deadpool star received the prestigious American Cinematheque Award.

Afterwards, a family insider revealed the couple were ‘relieved that the secret is out.’
Two days after making her baby bump debut, the Gossip Girl alum took to her Instagram page and shared a series of snaps of herself pregnant, which included a few with her husband.
Lively and Reynolds’ romance dates back to 2010, when they first met on the set of their movie Green Lantern.
When they found themselves both single the following fall they began dating.
Ultimately, they couple decided to get married in a secret ceremony in September 2012.
According to Us, Reynolds and Lively had planned to have a large family with lots of kids. An insider maintains the couple ‘felt like they were making up for lost time [from] the years they both had to put off having a family.’
Once baby number four arrives, and the family have time to adjust and spend time together, Lively and the kids will join Reynolds when he begins work on the next Deadpool film, which will co-star Hugh Jackman.
‘Deadpool is a family project for them and the family will all go to wherever Ryan is shooting that one in 2023,’ a source revealed.
The third installment of Deadpool is scheduled to hit theaters in November 2024.
