“The US government and the US Open don’t realize that they harm themselves if they don’t allow a champion like Novak Djokovic to play the tournament. It amazes me that no one tells them.” This is the thought of former NFL star Chris Manno, who expressed this on Twitter.

In recent days, several US politicians have called on Biden to change the rules of entry into the country. Although he has been included in the entry list of the US Open, it is unlikely Novak Djokovic will be able to travel to the United States.

“US government harms itself by banning Novak Djokovic”

The Serbian phenomenon lifted an understated season by triumphing at the Championships for the seventh time in his career and equaling Pete Sampras.

Thanks to the fourth consecutive seal at Church Road, the 35-year-old from Belgrade has hoisted himself to 21 Majors and narrowed the gap that separates him from Rafael Nadal in the all-time ranking. 2022 had given Nole very little satisfaction until the London tournament, also thanks to his choice not to undergo the double dose.

Djokovic had had to miss the Australian Open and the American Masters 1000 in Indian Wells and Miami, as well as suffering serious damage to his image.
John McEnroe also spoke on the issue: “I disagree with your choice not to get vaccinated, but I respect it.

He is in perfect health and carefully evaluates every substance that ends up in his body. It is really a shame that it has been put in a bad light by the media. I hope that what happened in Australia never happens again, it was a debacle for everyone.

The situation was handled horribly and Nole suffered a lot. I’m glad he was able to bounce back, once again demonstrating his incredible mental strength. Someone find a way to get him into the US, we need a champion like him in New York.”
