He went full on heel on a few body shamers last week.
And Stephen Amell certainly made a face turn on his latest outing.
The 40-year-old actor showcased his impressive physique in a pair of tiny pink swim shorts as he went shirtless while enjoying some fun in the sun in Palm Springs, California on Sunday.
The eye-popping display came just a week after the Heels actor called out body shamers in the comment section of his Instagram who criticized him for not having the same build as when he starred as Oliver Queen AKA the Green Arrow in CW series Arrow from 2012 to 2020.
The actor posted a shirtless snap last weekend and received comments including ‘What happened to the Arrow body?’ and ‘where is Oliver Queen’s physique?’
Amell did not take too kindly to the criticisms as he responded with a ‘public service announcement’ on Facebook which began: ‘I’m 6’1 inches tall and 208 lbs. I’m in tremendous shape and I’m strong as s***. I’m a 24 hour juice cleanse away from blowing the season 1 poster for Arrow out of the water.
‘We did the photography for that poster a little over 9 years ago.’
The Canadian actor didn’t stop there as he said he is going to take extra precautions when he posts his next thirst trap as he wrote: ‘next time I post a photo in my hot pink skivvies, I’ll try and remember to flex!’
‘If that isn’t good enough, send me your address. I will show up to steal your boyfriend or your girlfriend.’
Regardless, the star looked in top physical form during his latest outing in the desert as his bulging biceps and ripped abs were on full display in a pair of tiny pink patterned swim shorts.
The actor also sported a pair of retro sunglasses with a singular mirrored lense that would have made Randy ‘Macho Man’ Savage jealous.
He looked more than ready for a pool party as he drove a golf cart to a gathering.

Amell is no stranger to controversy as he got kicked off of Delta Airlines flight over an argument with his wife Cassandra Jean back in June.
At the time he addressed the incident on Twitter, insisting he wasn’t ‘forcibly removed’ and trying to downplay the reporting of the incident by adding in another tweet, ‘Must be a slow news cycle.’
However two months later in August, the actor opened up about the incident on the Inside of You podcast with actor Michael Rosenbaum, where he spoke about trying to make amends.
‘Ultimately, very ashamed of it, trying to make amends for it, specifically with my wife,’ Amell said.

The incident happened in late June on a Delta flight from Austin, Texas to Los Angeles, when he was ‘asked to lower my voice’ and 10 minutes later, he was asked to leave the plane.
Amell began his interview with Rosenbaum by getting this incident out in the open, adding there was a ‘simple explanation’ for what happened.
‘I had too many drinks, and I had too many drinks in a public place, and I got on a plane,’ he began.
‘I was pissed off about something else that had nothing to do with Cass, my wife, and I picked a fight. Just picked a fight because I wanted to be loud and upset,’ Amell added.

He also clarified that it was not an ‘argument’ because his wife, Cassandra Jean, wasn’t ‘engaging,’ though she did say one thing.
‘My wife said one thing the entire time, which was, “If you don’t lower your voice, they’re going to kick you off the plane,”‘ Amell explained.
When Rosenbaum asked what Amell was doing this whole time, he said he couldn’t even remember what made him so upset.
‘Honestly, I can’t even remember what I was upset about, which was indicative of two things. A, Handle your liquor. I had too many drinks, right? And B, it clearly wasn’t important,’ Amell said.
I was just upset and wanted to be upset and sure enough after [Cass] said this, a guy came by and said, “Sir, you have to keep your voice down, please.”‘
He added his wife was ‘100% right here,’ and that he was ‘loud’ and ‘probably dropping a few F-bombs.’
While he said it wasn’t an ‘excuse,’ Amell added he also had noise-cancelling headphones on, so he was probably being much louder than he thought he was.

‘I’m actually, frankly, like deeply ashamed of it. I was quiet for 10 minutes, a guy came back. Clearly I had made somebody uncomfortable, somebody said something and they just made the decision, you’ve gotta get off the plane,’ he said.
He also referenced his original tweet where he called the incident an ‘argument between my wife and I, and it wasn’t. It was 100% my fault.’
‘I feel like I went the better part of 10 years without being an a**hole in public. I was an a**hole in public,’ Amell added.
He continued that his wife was ‘super pissed,’ and even more so when he characterized it as an ‘argument’ on Twitter.
As for the tweet, he said he sent it, ‘at like 4 in the morning because I got a text from my buddy in Toronto asking if I was OK.’
When Rosenbaum asked if he resisted in any way when being asked to get off the plane, he said he didn’t, but that was, ‘the scariest part for me.’
‘The scariest part is I was inebriated, I was upset, and it would have been very easy… what if I just casually, flippantly, not being in sound mind and body, if I offer like a quick passive f**k off — and all of a sudden I’m in these bracelets? I mean, maybe I destroy my entire life, my entire career,’ Amell said.
He added that he’s still working through the incident with his wife, adding they’re having conversations about being a celebrity where, ‘people just give you whatever you want and occasionally that leads to you just not setting appropriate boundaries in your own life.’
Amell’s new pro-wrestling centered series Heels debuted August 15 with the first season as the season finale is set for this Sunday, October 10 on Starz.
